Perdersi Oltre Natura

The title of the project takes up a text by the anthropologist Philippe Descola "Beyond Nature and Culture",
in which he proposes to deconstruct the separation between culture and nature, a concept that reflects
what is at the basis of all Vittoria Mazzonis' work: identity and its construction.
The discovery and analysis of one's origins,the questioning of one's place in the world,
of what characterises an individual and makes him different from the other,
that is the possibility of adding new visions to the proposed narration.
The artist presents a collection of photographic shots belonging to four different projects together with a couple of artist's books, with the desire to give the possibility of opening "windows" that embrace various narratives not only artistic,
but also anthropological and scientific.
