Santo Cinalli
Santo Cinalli is an Italian Postwar & Contemporary sculptor who was born in 1949, so his creative work was predominantly influenced by the 1960s.
The artist doesn’t like to expose himself very much, but you get to know him slowly, step by step, through his works and when you enter his studio.
Over there you are immediately struck by the unusual wooden sculptures representing of knots, trees or anthropomorphic figures and you try your best to understand their deeper meaning.
Santo Cinalli explains that these are "games"
between fiction and reality: form generates
nature and vice versa.
